Brian D. Nyman, Managing Partner

Brian earned his BA in 1971 from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Michigan State University in 1973. Brian's professional certification followed in 1975 after two years with a Big Eight firm in Seattle. He has also taken numerous courses from the Golden Gate University Masters of Taxation program at the University's Seattle branch. With over 25 years of experience, Brian has in-depth knowledge and expertise in accounting and taxation. Brian is accredited by the AICPA as a Personal Financial Specialist qualified to counsel clients in all areas of personal financial planning. Brian's memberships include WSCPA, AICPA, FPA, NSPA and NATP.

Laird S. Vanetta, Partner

Laird earned his BS (major in accounting) from Central Washington University in 1980. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1982. Laird has 20 years of expertise in accounting and auditing, as well as income and estate planning, business consulting, computerized systems and financial planning. Laird is approved to perform practice-monitoring reviews for the AICPA. Laird is a member of the WSCPA and AICPA.

Todd A. Strom, Partner

Todd graduated from Moorhead State University in 1985 with a BS, major in accounting, and became certified in 1986. Todd received his Certified Valuation Appraiser (CVA) designation in 1995, which allows him to perform valuations of business interests. Todd has 14 years of experience in accounting and auditing and income and estate tax preparation and planning. Todd has worked in industry for one year before joining Tremper & Co., LLP. Todd's memberships include the WSCPA, AICPA and NACVA.

Staff:

Tim H. Holm, Supervisor

Tim graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1979 with a BA degree in business administration. Tim has 20 years of expertise in accounting, auditing and income tax preparation and planning. His primary focus is with construction contractors, nonprofit organizations, and closely-held businesses. He also assists our individual clients in their efforts towards tax, estate and personal financial planning.

Joni J. Sherwood, Sr. Staff Accountant

Joni has 24 years of private and public accounting experience. Her focus is in the areas of State and Federal filing requirements, manual and computer bookkeeping and accounting systems including installing and supporting bookkeeping software, and small business consulting.

Margie M. Nyman, Office Administrator

Margie, with over 15 years of experience, is responsible for the day-to-day operations that make our firm run effectively and efficiently, and yet focused on personal service to our clients. Margie assists clients with payroll and business tax reporting, as well as individual and business tax preparation. She provides bookkeeping services and manages the bill paying service and banking procedures we offer our clients.

Tyler M. Nyman, Jr. Staff Accountant

Tyler Graduated from the University of Washington in 2000 with a BA in Geography and from Seattle University in 2005 with an MBA. Tyler became a Certified Public Accountant in 2006 and is a member of the WSCPA and the AICPA. He has worked at Tremper & Co., LLP for the last thirteen years.. Tyler has experience in audits of non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans and construction contractors. Tyler assists our business clients with year end accounting, tax preparation and tax planning. Tyler also assists our individual clients in their efforts towards tax, estate and personal financial planning.
